About Us

SabbWatch was created in September 2020 by five students, all from different backgrounds, cultures, ages, and voting preferences, who wanted to create a platform to speak their mind about key student issues without being tethered to media guidelines. Almost two years later we've covered two student elections, broken many news stories before anyone else, and created content that's helped shape the University. 
SabbWatch is the University of Kent's only independent student news show, covering key events like elections and strike action, as well as keeping you up to date with what your elected Kent Union Officers have, or haven't, done.
